I don’t have any wrinkles so I’m not sure if snap -8 would be overkill

Try out Adapalene first if you’re going for a Retinoid, but it’s redundant with Accutane. Maybe add sunscreen?

Interesting, Retinol is redundant with Accutane?
To the best of my knowledge Accutane is mainly for drying sebum glands / mainly acne (with minor effects on cell turnover) while retinol is the first in line treatment for cell turnover/ wrinkles/ etc

No you’re correct. I looked into it and a topical retinoid will help w wrinkles and has synergy with Accutane in some people (i thought it didn’t).
The only problem is that ur skin might be dry and you’re extra exposed to sun damage. Again, I think that the point I made earlier of Adapalene before Tretinoin is the right way to go, you might be shedding your face off if it’s too strong 🤣

I also did some looking into it and I found a significant amount of people saying what you said earlier (Accutane is oral tret ) as well as a few estheticians saying tret gets all the hype only because Accutane isn’t widely prescribed-
So much conflicting info out there lol
