I took 1 mg of reta spread out over two doses in a week . I haven’t eaten in 5 days and don’t feel hungry . Granted this is on purpose

Frankly it’s an issue , the constipation but thats kind of how the drugs, delay gastric emptying
I think that was part of the problem was I didn't drink much water with the meal. Did drink lots of fluid later but don't think it helped at that point. Will try the milk of magnesia trick though, thanks
Yup. And there are a lot of tricks out there to increase motility. Fiber + lots of water being an obvious one, morning coffee, and warm liquids / all those esoteric body hacks worth looking into if you’re ever constipated
