Its because we shouldn't even be using units as a way to measure the volume of liquid, simple.

It's applicable when doing unusual dilutions like how I gave the example of using 1.8ml to recon my 36iu HGH. I will trust 180 units on my insulin syringe over a regular syringe with larger measurements
But maybe best practice for those who are new or are not used to converting units like that
And then new people get confused because youre telling them to take 10 units or volume to take 2iu of gh. Or this guy thinking there will be 144 units in the vial.
Him thinking the total volume after reconstitution is 144 units is actually his thinking that the peptide itself displaces the water to increase the total volume
And what would he think the total "units" would be if we used a peptide that we measured in weight and not iu like gh. Its purely because the word "units" was used.
